Maker's Mark Cask Strength is the full-flavoured, full-proof version of the classic wheated bourbon loved worldwide. Bottled straight from the barrel at around 53.5–57% ABV, this edition is at 55.75%, right at the top end. It offers the same smooth, soft wheat profile as the original, but with a richer, more intense delivery. This uncut, unfiltered bourbon is produced in small batches at the Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, using the same time-honoured mash bill: 70% corn, 16% red winter wheat, and 14% malted barley.

It's the boldest version of Maker's going, with dark cherry, toasted oak, salted caramel and a solid hit of warm vanilla, rounding out into dark chocolate and soft spice on the finish. If you rate the classic bottle, this is that same recipe turned all the way up.
