The 21 year is also called "The Archive" as there is whisky aged 40 years and older in the bottle. The whisky is aged in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and, although the packaging doesn't affect the taste, it comes in a very attractive box for a gift or the collector.
A Gold Medal Winner at the 2005, 2006 and 2007 International Wine & Spirit Competition, the 2002 International Spirits Challenge and a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This is a well-regarded 21 year old from Glenlivet.
Nose: Caramelised pears and juicy peaches, spicy notes of cinnamon and fragrant nutmeg
Palate: Complex, smooth and fruity with an intriguing spiciness, notes of dried apricots, juicy sultanas and chocolate- coated ginger
Finish: Long and rich with warming spice
