Tasting Notes:

Door 1: OLD OVERHOLT BONDED STRAIGHT KENTUCKY RYE
A Bonded version of Old Overholt. Distilled in one season, at one distillery, and bottled at 100 proof. This straight rye whiskey is aged for four years in new, charred American oak. Product 

Nose: light hints of vanilla, oak, grain and corn, though it exudes a hint of sweetness along with a touch of ethanol. There is a hint of rye spice. 

Palate: Unlike the nose, the palate is slightly more expressive with sweet vanilla, light caramel and oak at the forefront. Fresh marshmallow and light peanut are present. Rye spice peeks through.

Finish: The finish starts with a prominent amount of peanut before caramel, light barrel char, vanilla, and a dose of rye spices are introduced.


Door 2: REBEL BOURBON 100 PROOF
Rebel Bourbon 100 Proof is a bold and robust whiskey that delivers a memorable tasting experience.

Door 3:Bernheim Original 7 Year Old Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey
The first truly new American Whiskey to be introduced in many generations. Whereas others contain primarily corn, barley, or rye, Bernheim is the only type of straight whiskey which uses soft winter wheat.

This small-batch whiskey, with its bright copper penny colour and bewitchingly sweet aromas of cocoa, mocha and fresh-baked cookies, is one of the few 'straight wheat' whiskeys out there. The flavours are brisk and restrained, with leather and tobacco tones and a clean citrus and vanilla finish. Despite a relatively high proof, it still comes across as mellow and balanced. The mint smoothes the burn as the candy dissolves, and you may catch a hint of corn as the long glide of the finish starts. Door 4: BEARFACE

Having initially matured in bourbon barrels, the single grain whisky was then transferred to a selection of French red wine and virgin Hungarian oak casks, which were locked up in a repurposed shipping container out in bear country. The extreme climate of the region means temperatures can fluctuate greatly between night and day, providing interesting conditions for the whisky and the wood to interact.

Tasting Notes

Nose:  Buttered corn and vanilla open the way for sweet, tannic oak and a touch of drying spice.

Palate:  Butterscotch, and vinous, jammy fruit notes mingle, with aromatic oak and toasted peppercorns in the distance.

Finish:  The spices develop towards the end, with fragrant dried chilli bringing some warmth


Door 5: EVAN WILLIAMS BLACK LABEL
Evan Williams Black Label is a classic bourbon with a rich and approachable flavour profile.

Door 6: Henry McKenna Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Bottled at around four years of age, this entry-level American whiskey shares the same mashbill as many other Heaven Hill brands (78% corn, 12% malted barley, 10% rye). The story behind the label is that Henry McKenna came to America in 1837 from Ireland and settled in Kentucky where he set out to create a better Bourbon using his family’s recipe. He set up shop in Fairfield, about five miles from where the current Heaven Hill Distillery is located. 


Door 7: Jefferson Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Jefferson’s Very Small Batch is a blend of our base Jefferson’s bourbon – a simple, yet substantial whiskey – with 3 additional hand-selected straight bourbons of varying mash bills and ages. This creates a whiskey of consistent quality while allowing for complex nuances to express themselves in each new batch

1. Nose: The nose is more complex. It is mildly Sweet, with hints of vanilla and honey, but juxtaposed with  elements of toasted bread and gentle wood spices.

2. Palate:  The toasty notes on the  nose convert to freshly baked buns on the palate. Hints of toffee and honey, berries  and aromatics make this full and sweet. For those with an expert taste, you may find traces of spearmint

3. Finish: The toasty notes carry all the way through in the finish with toasted oak; It is elegant and warm


Door 8: HIGH WEST AMERICAN PRARIE BOURBON
High West American Prairie Bourbon is a remarkable whiskey that showcases the beauty of the American West.

Door 9: Wild Turkey Rare Breed
The bold spirit of Wild Turkey is present in this authentic barrel proof whiskey—the original “small batch” barrel proof bourbon.
1.Nose: Caramel and toffee combine with bright orange zest and light citrus. Seasoned oak adds depth and hints towards the older bourbon in the blend.

2. Palate: A sweet and spicy mix of rye spice, maple sugar, caramel, and leather finds intensity immediately.

Door 12: CASTLE & KEY RESTORATION RYE

1.Nose:  Toasted almond, graham flower, hazelnut, pine sap, fresh green apple, pomelo, honeycomb, red cherry, oregano, char

2. Palate: Maple syrup, marshmallow, whipped cream, toasted oak, pumpkin pie, vanilla, clove, pecans

3. Finish: Long finish with notes of pink peppercorn and toasted honey cashews

4: Overall: This single Barrell is unique. aged from 8 -12 years. It also tends to evolve in the bottle after uncorking, sometimes even radically, but always within a dependable trifecta of oak, caramel, and baking spices.
